BE Expands Support for Women Through New Grant

Des Plaines, IL - Beautifully EmpowHERed is continuing to expand its impact with the support of a recent grant from Rivers Casino in Des Plaines, Illinois. 

At BE, the mission has always been to help women move from feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain to living a more confident, aligned, and fulfilling lives. Through a combination of mental health services, career counseling, and community centered events, BE creates spaces where women can reflect, grow, and reconnect with themselves. 

This new funding will support the continued growth of BE’s core programs, including its counseling resources, workshops, and the HER Story Conference. It will also contribute to BE’s recent expansion, including the launch of The Shop at BE. This is a refreshed version of the Career Closet that offers greater variety while continuing to help women show up confidently in both their professional and personal lives. 

The impact of these programs are constantly being felt by the community. As one BE volunteer and client shared, “Thank you so much BE! I am able to go into my interview and professional shoots thanks to the clothing closet here at BE!”. This kind of transformation reflects BE’s commitment to meeting women where they are and supporting them as they step into new opportunities.  

As BE continues to grow, the focus remains the same. Building a supportive community where women can step out of their comfort zones, and invest in themselves. With this support, BE is able to reach more women, expand access to its services, and continue helping individuals show up for themselves.
