Shobha Kansal
A 40 Under 40 honoree, Shobha’s career sits at the intersection of leadership, scholarship, and lived experience. With more than 15 years in the CPG industry and nearly a decade in academia, she brings both executive credibility and deep sociological insight to conversations about women, work, and leadership.
As a Doctoral Candidate and Dissertation Fellow at the University of Cincinnati, Shobha’s research explores how high-achieving women navigated childcare, household labor, and professional demands during the pandemic, and what their stories reveal about agency, resilience, and the ongoing work of gender equity.
Before academia, Shobha held leadership roles at Procter & Gamble and Kraft Heinz across sales, strategy, omnichannel commerce, and shopper psychology. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology and a double major in Finance and Spanish from Indiana University.
A certified yoga instructor and NASM-certified personal trainer, Shobha believes that strength—in mind, body, and conviction—is foundational to leadership. Above all, she is a proud wife and mother who is passionate about building stronger families, stronger organizations, and stronger communities.
